Expanding Hospital Barmherzige Brüder Marshallgasse in the heart of the city isn’t just about adding services; it’s about creating a healing space for patients. The significance of open spaces in hospital projects is tackled by the incorporation of various courtyards, terraces, and an accessible roof. These outdoor areas are meticulously designed with an array of plants boasting medicinal properties, fostering a therapeutic atmosphere.
Recognizing the pivotal role that open spaces play in enhancing the quality of life for patients, the project prioritizes the integration of landscape elements to contribute positively to the healing process. Beyond the functional aspects of expansion, the deliberate inclusion of medicinal plants serves to create a symbiotic relationship between nature and healthcare, promoting holistic well-being for individuals within the urban confines of Hospital Marshallgasse.
