Benjamin Mailänder

Benjamin works part-time at Studio Boden while completing his Master’s thesis at the Faculty of Architecture at TU Graz. His research focuses on revitalization and infill development in Graz’s urban context, with a particular interest in micro-flats, living quality of small spaces, and the use of natural materials such as wood.

His time studying abroad in Vilnius, Lithuania, and Istanbul, Turkey, combined with his work in construction research, monument preservation, and the arts and culture sector, has given him a diverse range of insights and perspectives that enrich his work at Studio Boden.

Beyond architecture, Benjamin is passionate about music, plays in a band, and stays active by working as a bike messenger.
