Elias is a Senior Landscape Architect at Studio Boden. His work focuses on understanding urban subspaces as interrelated systems within the city. He aims to create environments that offer quality and bring a sense of enjoyment to their everyday users.
Before joining the studio, Elias completed his master’s degree at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. He studied abroad at TU Munich and at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, where he specialized in Landscape Architecture for Sustainable Urbanization.
He began his professional career in Düsseldorf, working on competition entries within a large team at a renowned office for several years. Back in Vienna, he later worked as a project manager on projects of varying scales, ranging from private housing developments to public space.
Outside of his professional work, he enjoys being outdoors and experiencing landscapes at a slower pace—often on extended cycling trips across Europe or relaxing in the sun in his hammock.
